HIGH TEA.....DON'T BOTHER

DONT EVEN BOTHER GOING TO THE KERI CRAIG EMPORIUM COFFEE SHOP FOR HIGH TEA. WE DID....for my daughters 12th birthday and it was dreadful. Not only were the staff unattentive and unanimated the actual service was shocking. We waited about 25 mins before they would take our order even though we booked. We thought...oh well we shall just order our high teas and were dissappointed as all we got was a few finger sandwiches. 2 little tiny tiny pastries and a tiny hot quiche which would have been a frozen bought product. No taste. 1 glass of champagne and some scones. It cost us $135 for 3 adults and 2 kids. I dont mind paying that sort of price if you get something for it but I even had to buy my 6 yr old a hamburger at Mcs afterward as she was still hungry. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Next time we are going to pay the $65 and go to the Stamford Plaza High Tea or Yum Cha in the Valley.

Keri Craig High Tea, waste of money

I agree with pennyg63, I went for a work function and the service was poor and the food was very disappointing. I know high tea consists of dainty portions but there were very few and the quality was lacking. Also the seating was very uncomfortable, the tables and chairs were outdoor-setting types, and the chair cushions kept slipping through the back of the chair onto the floor. Stamford Plaza high tea is miles better than this.
